Kaela and Robert started dating on July 2, 2004. They became engaged on July 3, 2008. Every year they celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends. So it would just make sense for them to want to celebrate their marriage around this time too.

That being said, Independence Day weekend was just already too crazy. Friends and Family typically go out of town that weekend and we'd be fording them to choose between us and their traditions, many venues were already booked more than a year in advance because of other annual celebrations, etc.

So... We decided to go for 26 June 2010.
